Steps on How to Use a Feminine Pad to Avoid Leakage

Step By Step of How to Use Pads

STEP 1. CHOOSE THE RIGHT PAD

All menstrual cycles are different and there is a particular pad for each one. Now that this is clear, the first thing you need to do is choose the best one to suit your needs. There are pads without wings, slim and ultra-slim ones, those for a regular flow or a heavy flow, and for daily or nighttime use.

STEP 2. OPEN AND REMOVE THE STICKY TAB

After choosing the ideal pad, remove it from the packaging, unfold it and remove the sticky tabs that cover the wings (in case you have opted for one with wings). Also remove the sticky film in the center of the pad; you can't imagine the number of women who forget to remove and how important it is so that the menstrual pad stays in place inside your underwear.

STEP 3. PLACE IT INSIDE YOUR UNDERWEAR

It's time to put the pad in place. Try to place it in the center of your panties. A good way to guide yourself is by taking as a reference the fabric reinforcement that all underwear has in the area that covers the vagina. Make sure you place the wings around the panties to prevent the pad from moving. A good way to make sure is to pull up your panties and see if they cover your entire pubis.

STEP 4. CHECK YOUR PAD

After inserting the pad, put on your underwear and check that it is well placed; to do this, feel the area with your buttocks with both hands, so that you can see if it is centered.

STEP 5. CHANGE YOUR PAD WHENEVER NECESSARY

Depending on the flow of your period, you should pay attention to changing the pad in order to avoid stains on your clothes. Always take extra pads in your bag in case you need to change them frequently. It is recommended to change the menstrual pad every 4 hours, to avoid discomfort.

Reminding yourself how to use pads is something every woman should do at least once in her life. It is essential! Take advantage of what you have already done and share some of this knowledge with all your friends; you can share it on your social networks or just mention it in the next chat you have with them.
